Alana De La Garza was born in 1976 to the Mexican-American father and Irish-American mother. She is a popular actress on TV. The parents of De La Garza were both Irish and Mexican American. She was born in Columbus, Ohio, on the 26th of December, 1976. De La Garza soon moved to Texas, where she studied the field of physical therapy at University of Texas. De La Garza stayed in Texas for a brief period before moving in Orlando Florida. She took part in a wide range of character roles including commercials and local independent movies. Despite small roles, she soon discovered her love in acting. The year 2001 saw her move to New York where her first appearance was on the All My Children's daytime soap opera as Rosa Santos. Through the first half of 2000 she had small roles appearing on JAG Vegas and Two and a Half Men. She landed her major role in the year 2004, on the underrated drama The Mountain.
